Parohe means relax. We are a wellness retreat on Kawau Island, just 50 minutes from Auckland’s CBD. We are secluded and sheltered within a harbourside, native forest, bush amphitheatre.

Our Signature Relax, Rejuvenate or new Resilience Retreats include all meals, daily movement , access to Parohe’s picturesque walking trails, land and water activities, and wellness facilities which include massage, swimming pool, outdoor baths and the sauna. Our waterfront salt spa is coming soon. The Couples Retreathas all the Signature features plus a romantic dinner picnic, a dessert making class and a Latin dance class. Introducing Signature+ in spring 2026 - leading wellness practioners facilitate our Signature retreats through movement & discussion.

Getaways are a Weekend Off. Usually over long holiday weekend but available all year, for you and your family & friends. Minimum 6 people for 3 nights. Book and we will do the rest.

Signature Retreats are $1640 per person for 3 days and 2 nights and includes everything except massage. Share a room with your friend for $1440 per person. Early Bird rates available booked 6 months in advance.
